Hey, everyone!
It is a big day today for Exile Squadron, and myself personally. The store page for the game has been accepted on Steam, and it is already active. This means that everyone can check it out, watch the trailer, and read about it.
And of course, you can wishlist it as well. In the last one or two years, wishlists became one of the most important factors for game developers (at least on Steam), because these are driving the Steam algorithm. This algorithm decides the amount of visibility your game is getting on the Store, so one must do everything to increase the wishlist number.
This is why I encourage everyone to hit that wishlist button, even you don’t want to purchase the game just yet. Believe me, it helps a lot, and I’m grateful for each and every one of them.
What now?
So, what is on the horizon? The Steam release date is 11. November 2019, which is not that far away. My number one priority is to implement the Steam features into the game. This means coding the achievements, the trading cards and most importantly, the online leaderboards. And while I’m doing this, I am fixing and improving the game based on the beta test results. I won’t be bored that’s for sure.
Until next time, check out this trailer I created for the Steam release.
